To learn about the different models, their features and capacities, see below.
Touch Programing: With the exclusion of three models, all rotary draw benders allow at least 30 bend programs whith each program allowing up to 30 bends per program - see comparison table below for specific model storage capacities. Rather than performing one bend of the sequence, the user can perform all required bends for that specific piece withought making any adjustments to settings. This functionality significatnly aids in optimizing workflows and reduces errors/material waste. |
Variable Springback Compensation: After the bend cycle, all materials are prone to a springback affect. Essentially, material relaxes after the counterbend die pressure is released. Most materials are slightly overbent during the bend cycle to compensate for this effect. Springback amounts vary depending on the strength and tensile of the material being bent and the degree of bend What sets Ercolina Rotary Draw Bender apart from the competition is that spring back can be adjusted and set to so that it automatically compensates depending on bend angle. This elimates the need to manually adjust spring back during bend sequences - a big productivity booster and waste reducer. |
Swing Away Counterbend Die: Swing away counter bending die are standard with all rotary draw benders from Ercolina. The swing away vise allows easy material on and off, maintaining position without secondary locking. This not just increase setup speed and speed between bends, but also takes out variable of differing vise clamping pressures on a secondary vise - helping to produce a more consistent and repeatable bend. |
Quick Change Tooling System: The quick-change tooling system comes standard with al Ercolina rotary draw benders. Centerline formers simply slide on and off the hex, a useful feature for users with dynamic workflows and differing degrees of bend. |
Compare Models: All model have a minimum 2D centerline radius with he exception of the TB180.
