TENNSMITH HBU48-16 Bench Hand Brake

The TENNSMITH HBU48-16 is a heavy-duty bench-mounted hand brake designed for precision sheet metal bending and forming. Built with an all-steel welded frame and bronze bearings at the pivot points, it offers excellent durability, smooth operation, and long service life.

Designed for both box and pan and straight bending, the HBU48-16 handles up to 16 gauge (1.60 mm) mild steel. The removable apron angle and apron insert allow 1/4" reverse bends in lighter materials, while the adjustable upper leaf and nose bar provide flexibility for radius bending applications.

Standard equipment includes an apron stop rod for repeat bends, extension handles, and a counterweight for easier operation.
